Sedona Trout Escape:

Nestled into the bottom of Oak Creek Canyon, runs Sedona's hidden jewel, a beautiful trout stream, filled with untamed native brown trout and aggressive wild rainbow trout. While this creek offers some great fly fishing, as soon as you step foot into these crystal clear waters and see your surroundings, you will quickly realize this is much more than just fly fishing.
Noted by USA Today as "the most beautiful area in America", Sedona is known for its variety of fine restaurants and resorts. Let the Arizona Fishing Guides pull you away from the beaten path of downtown Sedona, and show you the Canyon as so few people actually ever see it. Our guides have spent more time on this creek over the past five years than all other Arizona guided services combined, and we look forward to taking you to the most beautiful, unique, and trout infested areas this creek has to offer.
Well suited for anglers of all abilities, Oak Creek is the perfect opportunity to hone your fly fishing skills in a surreal setting. We love teaching new fly anglers the basic skills needed to be successful in this sport in some of Oak Creek's more "forgiving" areas, and are equally comfortable taking a seasoned fly angler on a more rugged path through the unchartered more rugged stretches of Oak Creek in search of the brown trout of a lifetime.
All of our fly fishing trips are outfitted with Orvis rods, reels, boots, waders, flies, and other miscellaneous items needed for a successful day on the water. Beverages are included on all fly fishing excursions, and lunch is included on all full day trips.

Gin clear water, great views, and hungry bass waiting to strip drag off of your fly reel! Arizona's warm weather and nutrient rich lakes allow for shallow water bass fishing year round, making it the perfect state for heart pounding fly fishing action.
With two of the country's premier "bass on the fly" lakes in our backyard, we are able to keep tabs on the fish and put you on the hottest fishery when you arrive. Lake Pleasant is known around the country as a top pick for catching bass on the fly rod. With its aggressive stripers, largemouth, and white bass, Lake Pleasant is always a great choice. Thanks to its tremendous population of threadfin shad, the bass in lake pleasant have become ferocious predators, and will often "boil" and "blitz" on the baitfish, creating some of the best surface fishing you will ever encounter. Along with the great action found on lake Pleasant, exists one of the best kept fishing secrets in the southwest, fly fishing on Saguaro Lake. Probably the most fertile lake in Arizona, Saguaro Lake Supports a huge population of fat and healthy largemouth, smallmouth, and yellow bass, along with some hefty bluegill. These fish roam the shallows of Saguaro Lake all year long waiting for a big top water popper or steamer to attack.
This trip is perfectly suited for anglers of all skill levels. Advanced fly anglers will agree that this unique trip is a can't miss experience for anglers looking to try something new and exciting. Beginning fly anglers are also encouraged to join us for a bass on the fly adventure as these lakes are wide open and our bass boats make tremendous casting platforms, perfect for our skilled guides to teach you the art of fly casting.
We are excited to offer the finest fleet of boats and fishing equipment available on all of our bass on the fly fishing adventures. Our 21 foot tournament rigged Ranger Z-Series Bass Boats offer the perfect blend of comfort, performance, and casting room for fly anglers. With Arizona's warm climate, and Florida strain largemouth bass, these are the perfect conditions for growing giant bass. Let the most experienced guides in the state teach you the skills necessary to land the trophy bass of a lifetime on this special adventure.
These trips are intended for the angler willing to sacrifice catching numbers of fish in hopes of hooking into fewer numbers of much larger fish. To increase our odds, we will only do this on certain lakes during certain seasons, using our own proven tournament winning trophy hunting techniques. Some of this includes night fishing during the warmer months, trophy sight fishing during the spawn, and "big bait" fishing through most of the year on specific lakes.
If you are looking for a more challenging trip, with a possibility of reaping a huge reward in the form of a trophy bass, this is your adventure. We will be fishing out of our 21 foot tournament rigged Ranger Z-Series Bass Boats which offer the perfect blend of comfort, performance, and fishability. Fooling a hefty carp into taking a fly and wrestling it in is sure to get any experienced fly angler's blood pumping! Many fly fishing enthusiasts will agree that sight fishing can be the most exhilarating way to catch any species of fish. Add a four weight fly rod, 6X or 7X tippet, and a three foot long carp to the equation and it's easy to see why this is one of our most popular trips. Often compared to fishing for bonefish, this exciting style of sight fishing can be become extremely addicting after trying it once, just ask our guides!
Our carp fly fishing adventures take place all over the valley of the sun, and many locations are conveniently located in town around Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Glendale. These "urban" adventures are on foot, so make sure to bring a good pair of walking shoes and avoid bright clothing to prevent spooking these weary aquatic monsters. Most of our larger lakes around the outskirts of town also support very large populations of carp, and those looking to get a little further out of town are encouraged to ask us about these big water carp excursions as well.
All of our urban carp fishing trips include an experienced guide, Orvis rods, reels, flies, and other miscellaneous items needed for a successful day on the water. Beverages are included on all fly fishing excursions, and lunch is included on all full day trips. Our carp on the fly big water trips include all of the same gear, as well as a tournament rigged 21 foot Ranger Z-series bass boat with fly fishing platforms at both the front and rear.
